Our impact

Measured, not advertised

CSR reporting is easy to inflate. These are the figures our internal audit verifies against camp registers, dispensing records and scholarship disbursements.

Programmes

Four commitments, run continuously

Rural health camps

Mobile screening camps for diabetes, hypertension, anaemia and vision, run monthly with local primary health centres. Anyone diagnosed receives the first three months of medication at no cost, along with a referral to the nearest government facility.

  • Screening conducted by qualified clinicians, not company staff
  • No product promotion at any camp — this is not a marketing channel
  • Follow-up visit to the same village within 90 days

Pharmacy scholarships

Full-tuition scholarships for B.Pharm and D.Pharm students from low-income households, awarded on merit and need. Recipients are under no obligation to join us — several have gone to competitors, which is the point.

  • 68 scholarships awarded since the programme began
  • Includes books, laboratory fees and hostel costs, not tuition alone
  • Optional summer internship at our R&D centre or laboratories

Medicine access partnerships

Free supply of essential medicines to vetted charitable hospitals, disaster relief efforts and NGO-run clinics. Every consignment is despatched from released, in-date commercial stock — never from near-expiry inventory.

  • Minimum 18 months remaining shelf life on all donated stock
  • Recipient organisations verified for storage and dispensing capability
  • Rapid-response allocation held in reserve for disaster relief

Environmental stewardship

Beyond our own ISO 14001 obligations: community water recharge projects, tree plantation on and around the site, and a safe-disposal collection programme for expired household medicines run with local pharmacies.

  • Eleven community recharge wells constructed and maintained
  • Expired-medicine collection bins in 90 partner pharmacies
  • All collected material routed to authorised incineration facilities

If a health camp exists to generate prescriptions, it is a marketing expense wearing a white coat. Ours are audited to make sure they are not.
